My thoughts this winter have been dreaming of Hawaii every single day...The beautiful beaches, cool tropical winds and great plate lunches! My favorite beach is Hanauma Bay on the island of Oahu. It has a unique charm with the sea life and easy access. Just being there makes a person's day special. Someday I'll re-turn to my warm sand, food and bountiful sunshine...dreaming! Aloha...

The beaches, sunshine, blue sky and the warm tropical breeze bring a smile to ones face each and every time I visit... Hardly a day goes by that I wish I could stay there forever! Aloha...

Hawaiian Food....

One of many favorite foods in the islands....the Hawaiian plate lunch. Rice, macaroni salad and a entree of a special meat..perhaps teriyaki beef or chicken. YUM! I would love to be able to eat this special lunch everyday!  One of the best treats for island food...found at many small or larger restaurants. Enjoy!

Dreaming of Hawaii...

Yesterday was a particularly gray, dark day of winter. I found my mind thinking and dreaming of the brilliance of the sunshine bouncing off the sand and water on Waikiki beach...and did I mention the barbecue hamburgers on the grill at the Hilton beach side restaurant...Always my favorite...just dreaming...
