"Ohana" means family, Hawaiian style

The word "Ohana" in Hawaii means "Family"....this has long been a part of living life in Hawaii. Ohana are the people who keep you healthy, provide a home and good food as well as emotional support and learning. All members of the Ohana guide the others to a better life. The Grandparents are the givers of Wisdom and Knowledge to the younger members...This wisdom is passed down from generation to generation.  Life filled with the Aloha spirit....
